This RedMax TRZ230S trimmer is a powerful performer for homeowners and commercial contractors alike.  RedMax does not make residential-grade trimmers!  This model is perfect for commercial crews that primarily maintain manicured lawns.  We recommend a model with more torque for more intensive environments such as brush cutting.

The TRZ230S features a 22.5 cc, 0.94 horsepower engine, and its light weight makes the trimmer extra portable for landscaping use. A Strato-Charged engine ensures up to 20% better fuel economy than a traditional two-stroke engine while increasing torque and improving emissions. A steel drive shaft with 7-point splined engagement ensures durability and quick acceleration.

All current RedMax trimmer models use solid-steel shafts instead of cables!  No more failures due to the obsolete 'cable' drive system still used on some models by Echo and Stihl.
