Ground Keep Lawn Mower Deck Weight Tips

A couple of tips we have when installing the Ground Keeper lawn mower deck weights is to position the wider side of the weight towards the center or front of your mower if space allows.  Doing so will increase the effectiveness of the weights but if space does not allow, there will not be much of a noticeable difference in performance.

Make sure the strap it tight!  Really pull it snug to secure it to your mower's frame.  Make sure the excess strap is not going to get caught by any other parts on your mower.  We recommend to secure the excess strap length instead of cutting it so you can use that excess for leverage if you remove and reinstall the weights in the future.

If overtime the powder coating begins to thin or wear away, use a black spray paint with rust protection to recoat the weights.
