Just in time as the grass starts to grow in 2024, Lawn Crack has just released their 'Wing-Tip' high-lift lawn mower blade. These blades are perfect for cutting fescue grass with their finely crafted hardened steel construction with a narrow exaggrated sail to create extreme lift for the perfect cut every time.
The 1st product run of Lawn Crack's lawn mower blades are now available with a 5/8" center hole diameter in 16-1/4 inch, 18 inch, and 20-1/2 inch blade lengths that fit the majority of commercial walk-behind, stand-on and zero turn mowers with a 32 inch, 36 inch, 48 inch, 52 inch, or 60 inch deck.

Hardened Steel Mower Blades
You maybe familiar with XHT blades made from Fisher Barton's Marbain Steel. We made these blade with our own hardened steel to bring another option for professional lawn mowing services looking for an edge on their competition.
Why does the hardness of the steel matter? Regular steel does cut grass well but it is more suseptical to nicks in the cutting edge from hitting rocks or other debris that may be in the lawn. The cutting edge is less likely to chip, break or bend when it hits something hard while cutting. It also keeps its sharp edge longer as it wears more slowly when cutting turf.
'Wing-Tip' Extreme High-Lift Blade Design
High-lift lawn mower blades are ideal for cutting cool season grasses such as fine fescue, tall fescue, ryegrass, and bluegrass. The 'sail' or raised portion opposite of the cutting edge on any lawn mower blade determines the amount of lift it creates. We've found a short and pronounced sail at the end of the blade creates a lot of lift providing a perfect flush cut every time so we designed our blades to achieve this result.
Do you have "Wing-Tip" blades for my mower?
We hope so. The sizes we have available now are compatible with roughly half of the commercial lawn mowers on the market today. We've added many OEM blade part numbers to our blades product pages to let you know if your mower uses that OEM blade part number, our blade is compatible.
