The flap clears the deck when in the fully open position. It is a little cheaper than the larger HD model, but other than the motor, all components are the same as HD model. The motor uses gear made from brass and is made in Spain. It operates at 40 RPM, which allows for finer positioning of exactly where you want the flap - Open, closed, or in-between/half-open. This gives you full control of the grass clippings!
Tools Needed To Install:
You will just need a few tools to install!
- Power drill or impact driver with 3/8" & 5/32" drill bits for metal
- Adjustable wrenches or a set of wrenches
- Phillip's head screwdriver
- A Sharpie or other permanent marker
- Only wrenches and a Phillip's head screwdriver are needed if you purchase the 'No-Drill Kit Installation Kit' too!

This Mini HD Chute Blocker model (this one) is for most mowers with 32" or mowers with a similar 'smaller' size deck.

We recommend the rubber flap, but it is just a personal preference. The reason we recommend the rubber flap is that it is more forgiving. Even the most careful lawn mower operators can get a little too close to a fence post! The rubber will snap back into shape, while the aluminum flap prefers to bend.
