You are viewing the Slim HD model grass flap and chute blocker made by The Green Guard in the USA. The Slim HD model is for lawn mower decks 36" or smaller, walk behinds, standers, and zero turns. Check out the HD model if your lawn mower has a 42" or larger deck.
We recommend the rubber flap, but it is just a personal preference. The reason we recommend the rubber flap is that it is more forgiving. Even the most careful lawn mower operators can get a little too close to a fence post now and then! The rubber will snap back into shape, while the aluminum flap prefers to bend.
